Junior Clinics at the BTC
The BTC is pleased to announce that Junior Clinics will again be provided at our courts by Kane Easter Tennis for the 2024 season. Clinic sessions run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Information can be found on the Registration Form, which can be found here.
You do not have to be a member of the BTC to take the Junior Clinics at the BTC, however non BTC members will only be able to use the courts during clinic hours.

Lessons by John Easter
The BTC Executive is pleased to announce our continued affiliation with John Easter to provide lessons at the BTC. As in previous years, members wishing to take lessons with will contact John directly. 905-718-1054
The lesson program with John works as follows:
Wednesdays – One court is allocated for lessons at the following times 9-10am; 10-11am; 11am-12pm; 12-1pm; and 1-2pm. The Club will block book these courts in advance and John will enter the names in the Squashnut Booking System as the lessons are booked. In addition, John will be allowed to book one court for lessons during the 8am-9am court time. This booking can be made per the usual member booking timing, one week prior (for example on a Thursday for the following Wednesday.) John will fill in the names on the Squashnut Booking System as the lessons are booked.
Thursdays – One Court is allocated for lessons at the following times 11am-12pm; 12pm-1pm; 1pm-2pm. The Club will block book these courts in advance and John will enter the names in the Squashnut Booking System as the lessons are booked. In addition, John will be allowed to book one court for lessons during the 8am-9am, 9am-10am and 10am-11am court times. This booking can be made per the usual member booking timing, one week prior (for example on a Friday for the following Thursday.) John will fill in the names on the Squashnut Booking System as the lessons are booked.
If you are not currently a member of the Bowmanville Tennis, you may take one lesson with John Easter at the Bowmanville Tennis Club to try out the courts. If you wish to take additional lessons you must become a member of the Bowmanville Tennis Club prior to taking a second lesson.
Complimentary Introductory Program – For Adult and Junior Members – Provided by Members of the Club Executive
During the 2024 Season, The BTC will be providing several hours of complimentary introductory sessions for both adult and junior members. The Junior Sessions are on Mondays and the Adult Sessionss ae on Tuesdays. Sessions are geared to the levels of attendees and include drills, scoring, and practice games. The Adult Complimentary Sessions are two-hours – Start Date – Tuesday, TBA 7pm to 9pm. The Junior Complimentary Sessions are one and half hours – Start State Monday, TBA – 4:30pm – 6:00pm. If it rains, sessions are deferred to the next week. At the conclusion of the introductory sessions, Denis may, for the Adult Members continue, with The Thrill of the Drills in this time slot if there is sufficient interest. Denis Beaulieu, Steve Spracklin and Don Ashfield will be providing the adult instruction. Don Ashfield and Jane Lacey will be providing the Junior instruction.
